Our present and future circumstances are affected only by the signal we hold in the now. The power of feeling good now: we are vibrational beings, and at every moment we're broadcasting our "vibrational signal".And in doing so, your vibration is more about the reason you have launched the desire than it is about the desire itself." As explained in 'Ask and it is given': "Even though a clear desire has emanated from you as a result of the contrast you have considered, you often, rather than giving your attention purely to the desire itself, focus back on the contrasting situation that gave birth to the desire. We're mainly focused on the absence of them and thus we're a vibrational match to the absence of what we want. This is why we keep on being apart from the things that we want: because we are not a vibrational match to how it actually feels to have them.
Simply put, if you're dwelling in negative thoughts and feelings, life keeps on presenting you with circumstances that match those negative thoughts and feelings. Due of the law of attraction (like attracts like) the reality we're presented with is always a vibrational match to what we're thinking and feeling. Our thoughts and emotions are vibrations as well. You have only to allow it you will come to understand that to the degree you feel blessed and expect good things to flow to you, this indicates the level of your state of allowing and to the degree that you do not feel blessed, where you do not expect good things to come to you, this indicates your degree of resistance."
These are some of the key points of 'Ask and it is given': 'Ask and it is given' shows you a whole new way to navigate life if this is your first contact with any of the Abraham-Hicks material, you'll soon realize that it is a world in itself. They offer approaches to understanding life and to use our thoughts and emotions in the best way possible to create a positive experience of life. I personally love it, so pardon me if the review of this book is somewhat clouded with that perception -)Ībraham is, as explained in the book, "a family of Non-Physical Beings", which Esther Hicks channels. I find that as with all material from Abraham-Hicks, either you love it or you hate it. This book contains many insights on using our thoughts and emotions to feel good, and to ultimately create the life that we want to experience. 'Ask and it is given' is an all-time favourite for me - and the book that introduced me to the law of attraction.
